Marissa's career as a stylist began when she moved from her hometown of San Francisco, California to New York City. At an early age, Marissa was mesmerized by her grandmothers intricate sewing skills which served as a source of inspiration in color and shape. This transformed into a desire to work in fashion and developing an eye for detail. Marissa's aspirations tilted after working at Restoration Hardware HQ, the California based luxury home brand. Newly inspired and developing her prowess, Marissa found the brand exercised similar creative sensibilities and a mastery of style. The experience ignited an ongoing passion for home and design, and paved the way to a career as an interiors stylist. After being exposed to work in a photo studio and helping with the production of editorial sourcebooks, Marissa's move to the East Coast was the perfect opportunity to pursue her evolving dreams.
Marissa has experience in product styling as well as assisting some of the industries leading soft goods stylists for large scale clients. Her specialty and constant source of inspiration, however, lies within her work as an interiors stylist. She strives to create beautiful spaces and develop her craft.
